Tesla has released a new mezcal priced at $450, and Robb Report weighed in on the new spirit.
Tesla’s first agave spirit was a $250 tequila released in 2025 by tequila and mezcal brand Nosotros, followed by another tequila priced at an astonishing $1,000 a bottle.
This new mezcal was also produced in partnership with Nosotros. The first release came out last June and sold out pretty quickly, and this pricey bottle is also a fairly limited release.
Tesla Mezcal is made from Espadín and Bicuishe agave varieties. According to the brand, the agave is crushed using a tajón wheel, a traditional volcanic stone used to crush piñas, and still distilled before being bottled at 86 proof. This is an assertive mezcal with a strong smoky flavor. Its taste features raisin, pineapple, overripe lime, and equal parts mineral and floral aromas.
