La Perla has launched its own version of try before you and is working hard to ensure that it reflects the brand’s luxury profile, going deeper than the simple try now, pay later options offered by an increasing number of fashion e-tailers.

Future plans include adding a two-hour delivery window for the service, live chat with stylists around the clock and a 'virtual' fitting room that knows the customer's order history.
For now, the Italian high-end lingerie specialist said the service is designed to make it more convenient for shoppers to try on multiple sizes and experiment with a look in the comfort of their own homes, something that’s understandably important when selling a category as personal as intimates.
Available in the UK, US and France, Germany and Italy, the facility is accessible via La Perla’s website where shoppers select the Try & Buy icon. The goods they order are delivered, with customers having a 48-hour window to try on the items and decide whether they want to keep them. No money is taken from their debit or credit card until they’ve decided.
Creative director Julia Haart said the new initiative is “a way to bring the world of La Perla closer to the customer.”
The company also said the launch of the service is a reaction to the realisation that online shoppers crave physical experiences as much as those who shop in-store.
