Swiss luxury jewellery brand Bucherer is strengthening its position in the pre-owned watches business, becoming the first retailer in Europe to join the Rolex Certified Pre-Owned programme.
Bucherer, which entered the sector in 2025, said the move comes because its pre-owned offer is “thriving and expanding quickly” both online and offline. It launches the Rolex programme in the UK together with Switzerland, Germany, Austria, France and Denmark and it will subsequently be rolled out to the US.
“Rolex’s new certification programme now makes the Certified Pre-Owned business even more attractive and strengthens the foundation of trust for Bucherer customers”, it said.
As part of the programme, all the Rolex CPO watches retailed by Bucherer will be personally authenticated by Rolex. The models receive a two-year international Rolex CPO warranty and dedicated Rolex CPO accessories, such as a Rolex CPO label and a Rolex CPO pouch – offering excellent added value for Bucherer’s customers.
In addition to an ever-wider range of curated luxury watches, Bucherer has also expanded its own network of Certified Pre-Owned sales outlets, now numbering around 50 worldwide.
