Thomas Sabo has launched its jewellery brand and piercing studio Saboteur in the UK following its online debut in mainland Europe in 2025.
The concept is a family affair with it being founded by Thomas Sabo and his son Santiago (“who carries the influence of a new cultural generation”), as well as being “supported by” Thomas Sabo’s wife Rita “who is the artist and creative mastermind”.
The vision of the brand “is based on the heritage of over 35 years of jewellery and design” as it “disrupts the world of elevated jewellery with an unapologetic approach to design”.
The concept has just opened in Manchester on New Cannon Street in the Arndale Centre with the location stocking both the Fine Piercing and Petite Collections.
Sabo said that further UK openings will include Leeds and Cambridge.
The Manchester debut follows Saboteur’s original launch (online-only) during 2025 and then its physical debut in Austria and Germany that was followed by an opening in Paris last year.
As for the UK, the company said it’s running a poster campaign dubbed ‘Lend us your ears’, alongside the Manchester opening.
And Santiago Sabo added that its offer is more than just another piercing studio.
