Following on the footsteps of its Milanese and Parisian counterparts, who are already very active internationally, the CFDA is encouraging its emerging designers to expand their horizons internationally. Despite its large size, the US can no longer be the only market where young designers can grow.

The Council of Fashion Designers of America is working on its international network. The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, which is dedicated to promoting young designers, has just announced the launch of a China exchange programme.
