The Oh Polly brand has launched an interesting new partnership with all-electric courier company Packfleet with a deal that will see the courier handling the retailer’s orders within the giant M25 area.

It should mean carbon-free fashion deliveries for the brand’s occasionwear, activewear and swimwear that will be hand-delivered by Packfleet’s drivers.
The delivery firm offers live map tracking and one-hour delivery windows and the company also said that on delivery day, “customers will have the option to change everything about their shipment – including the time their parcel arrives, the address it arrives at and even whether drivers ring the doorbell” using the courier’s “cutting-edge technology”.
It’s an interesting development for a mass-market brand with such personalised options usually more likely to be available for higher-end product.
It’s also good timing given the negative publicity around the emissions created by the large number of petrol and diesel-powered courier vehicles on the roads in London and the home counties.
Linking with Packfleet is a major win on the sustainability front for Oh Polly as the courier firm has recently become B Corp Certified, “with every vehicle being charged with 100% renewable energy and drivers being paid 30% higher than industry average”.
The courier firm is also expanding its fleet of electric vans beyond the capital’s borders and recently raised an £8 million seed round from investors.
