Spanish fashion retail giant Mango has filed accounts for its UK operation with the figures for the year to the end of 2025 showing it going from strength to strength in the British market.

The company has been opening new stores in the country and during the year its turnover increased by £16.4 million having increased by £31.5 million in the previous 12 months. This time, turnover reached £120.8 million and the gross margin increased strongly to 47.1% from 41.83% in the previous year.

Gross profit rose to £56.9 million from £43.6 million a year earlier and profit before tax jumped to £5.4 million from less than £400,000 in 2025. Net profit also jumped from a sub-£400k figure to £3.9 million.

The directors said they hoped for growth in the future even though current economic conditions create uncertainty over the level of demand.

Assuming it continues to outperform and that the growth it hopes for will materialise, it will be helped by the company’s ongoing plans to open even more new stores in the UK in the year ahead. That will also mean more jobs being created after the company added almost 150 jobs during the year in question on the back of those new store openings.

During the period the company opened a womenswear store in Manchester Trafford Centre, opened at centre:mk in Milton Keynes,  at Westfield Stratford City and also signed up to expand its presence in Glasgow via a new store at the Silverburn mall. They were all part of its plans to open 13 UK stores during 2025 as the company’s strong bounce-back from a previous difficult period continued.
