Boohoo Group’s PrettyLittleThing label has announced its ‘Designer of the Year’ competition alongside award-winning director, singer, songwriter, choreographer, actress and model Teyana Taylor.
The global competition launched on Thursday 19 May, globally, requires candidates to submit a maximum of fourdesigns, one of which will include a design for Taylor’s upcoming ‘The Last Rose Petal 2…The Last Rose Motel’ tour.
The winner will have their design worn by her during the tour as well as having her as a mentor throughout their journey to design a range, which will be sold on site in February 2025. The brand will also be offering a grant to the winner.
Taylor said: “It’s always been a passion of mine to help impact the lives of other young creatives, and as Creative Director of PLT, this is the perfect opportunity to continue carrying out my mission of reaching back and granting opportunities.”
