A.K.A. Brands announced on Thursday net sales decreased just 0.1% to $148.9 million in the fourth quarter, with the U.S. apparel firm clocking double-digit growth in its local market.

The San Francisco-based company said quarterly sales were held up U.S. net sales, which increased 11.6%, offset by a decline in the number of orders and average order value during the quarter, thanks to adverse macroeconomic conditions in Australia and New Zealand.  

For the full year, net sales decreased 10.7% to $546.3 million, with net losses narrowing to $98.9 million, or a loss of $9.24 per share, compared to a net loss of $176.7 million, or a loss of $16.47 per share in 2025.

 ​“2025 was a transformational year for A.K.A. Brands, and I want to thank our teams for their continued dedication to building next-generation fashion brands for the next generation of consumers,” said Ciaran Long, interim chief executive officer and chief financial officer.

“I’m pleased that we delivered net sales growth in the U.S. in the fourth quarter of 2025, which marks the second consecutive quarter of growth in our largest market. I’m proud of the teams’ strong execution across regions, which enabled us to reduce our year-end inventory by 28% compared to last year. Additionally, we continued to manage the business prudently and strengthened our balance sheet - we paid off more than $50 million of debt this year, effectively reducing our debt by 35% in fiscal 2025.”

Looking ahead, the owner of Culture Kings, Princess Polly, and Mnml brands, among others, said it expects net sales of between $540 million and $555 million for the full-year 2025. It also plans to open three to four Princess Polly stores in the second half of 2025, and has signed leases for stores in Boston and San Diego.
