Emily in Paris season 5 is set to begin filming in May, according to Variety.
Lily Collins' Emily Cooper will be enjoying the “dolce vita” in Rome—or at least part of it—with her Italian beau Marcello in the highly-anticipated fifth season of this Netflix series.
The new season of the hit rom-com created by Darren Star will begin filming in Rome in May before moving to Paris in the summer.
Season 5 is expected to premiere on Netflix later this year, and will see Emily (Lily Collins) get an incredible run in her love life with the return of her two boyfriends, sexy French chef Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and dashing Brit Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), as well as her new Italian beau Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini).
Although part of the action will be set in Rome, the core French cast will also return, including Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, who plays Collins' chic and easy-going boss Sylvie Grateau, Samuel Arnold (Julien), Bruno Gouery (Luc), William Abadie (Antoine Lambert), and Ashley Park, who plays Emily's best friend Mindy Chen.
But some other actors, such as Camille Raza who played the "villain" in the first four seasons of the show, will not be returning.
The plot of season 5 remains under wraps.
According to Variety, season 5 will begin with Emily settling into her beautiful apartment in Rome to run the Italian office of Agence Grateau.
