The 2025 edition of Spain's Vogue Fashion Fund, previously known as Who’s On Next and supported by Inditex with a prize of €100,000, has been awarded to designer Tíscar Espadas from Úbeda. Edward Cuming and Ernesto Naranjo were the two other finalists in this year’s competition.

The award ceremony took place on October 2 in Madrid, hosted by actress Ana Rujas. Wes Gordon, creative director of Carolina Herrera, and Inés Lorenzo, editorial head of Vogue Spain, served as the jury president and presented Espadas with the prestigious award.
Born in Úbeda (Jaén) in 1993, Espadas has been based in Madrid since 2025. A graduate of The Royal College of Art in London, where she earned the Burberry Scholarship, she worked at various Spanish fashion houses and in the studio of Henrik Vibskov before establishing her own atelier in London in 2025. Since then, she has been developing her unique brand, which has gained special attention in markets such as Japan.
“Tíscar Espadas’ designs unfold like chapters, without adhering to the usual frenetic fashion calendar. Each garment is one-of-a-kind, crafted by hand by local manufacturers, showcasing the intricate process and the artistry involved,” stated the award organisers in an official release.
In addition to the financial reward, the Vogue Fashion Fund includes automatic membership in Acme (the Association of Spanish Fashion Designers) without needing a vote from the general assembly, as well as exclusive editorial coverage from Vogue Spain.
Tíscar Espadas now joins a distinguished group of past winners, including Marcela Mansergas, Juan Vidal, Maria Ke Fisherman, ManéMané, Moisés Nieto, Leandro Cano, Palomo Spain, Carlota Barrera, Mans, Dominnico, Paula Cánovas del Vas, and Pepa Salazar. Last year’s winner, Pepa Salazar, was part of this year’s jury alongside Wes Gordon and Inés Lorenzo, Pepa Bueno (executive director of Acme), Raúl Martinez (global creative director of Vogue), and Eloy Martínez de la Pera (art and fashion exhibition curator), among others.
