Having already launched its ‘Unleash the Love’ gifting collection and accompanying window display, high-end London department store Fortnum & Mason is now diving into all aspects of love for Valentine’s Day.

Covering most of the bases (romantic, platonic, unconditional, work-in-progress) the retailer’s gifting collection is supported by an artistic display in the central atrium, visible from all floors.
The installation features floating hearts rotating from the ceiling to ground floor. And customers will be able to participate by decorating a large eau de nil heart situated at the base of the display with bespoke stickers “to create a one of-a-kind artwork”, on the lower ground floor.
The installation is complemented by the current graphic window display, created in collaboration with art curation and consultant collective, Gone Rogue.
Sallie Smith, Fortnum’s Head of Visual Presentation said: “Fortnum’s love[s] to work with and support all forms of art, and having our new heart boxes in an exciting graffiti design seemed the perfect opportunity to spread the love across our Piccadilly store.”
The installations will be in-store until the end of March, and to mark the end of the channel-wide ‘Unleash the Love’ campaign, the street art displayed in the windows is being sold at an auction to raise money for charity.
