Marchon Eyewear, the American eyewear specialist, whose portfolio includes licenses for Lacoste and Converse, has strengthened its partnership with British brand Paul Smith.

The company was previously responsible for the distribution of Paul Smith sunglasses and eyewear in North America but Marchon will now oversee the distribution, manufacturing and distribution worldwide from January 2025.
"We look forward to contributing to the future growth of the brand worldwide, while strengthening our offering in the luxury eyewear segment. The new collections will offer new eyewear styles that uniquely capture the essence and exceptional quality of the Paul Smith brand," said Thomas Burkhardt, who was promoted to president of Marchon Eyewear in August. Marchon claims to distribute to 80,000 retail locations worldwide.
The new Paul Smith eyewear collection will be sold in selected optical retailers, department stores and specialized shops, in Paul Smith retail outlets and on the British label's online website as well as in the U.S at Eye Iconic.
Paul Smith, which recently launched its first home fragrances, is continuing to reposition itself aiming to attract a younger clientele. In the financial year 2025/2025, Paul Smith saw its sales decrease by 17% to £123.8 million (148.53 million euros), due to Brexit and the pandemic. Today, the company is present in 60 international markets via 130 shops.
