Levon Aronian among top 10 highest-earning chess players in 2025

In second place is Ding Liren (China)—who lost to Dommaraju in the World Championship—with $1.1 million.
The leader of the men’s world chess rankings, 16th world champion Magnus Carlsen (Norway) is third, with $771,000.
