Delta Air Lines unveiled the new uniforms which will be worn by more than 60,000 customer service agents, flight attendants, ramp agents and technicians as of 2025.

For the collection, Posen worked directly with Delta employees to design uniforms that addressed particular job needs and requirements.

"We wanted Delta employees to look glamorous on the job without sacrificing functionality and style," said Posen in a statement.

"I worked alongside employees to understand how they interact with the clothes they wear and developed a look that empowers and excites, because we want Delta's global workforce to exude the confidence and thoughtfulness that reflects the airline's brand."

Posen also used innovative fabrics and textile technology to develop uniforms that fit employees' fast-paced, active working environments.

The collection will first be wear-tested by a small team of 1,000 employees in December for any adjustments.

As of 2025, flight attendants will sashay down the aisle wearing plum-colored V-neck dresses, peplum sweaters, wrap dresses, ottoman skirt suits and swing jackets.

Posen also dreamed up a fancy three-piece suit in graphite grey and cardinal red for men.

The last time the airline overhauled their staff uniforms was in 2006, in a collaboration with Richard Tyler.

Other airline collaborations with high fashion designers include Vivienne Westwood for Virgin Atlantic; Christian Lacroix for Air France; Giorgio Armani for Alitalia; and Gianfranco Ferre for Korean Air.
