Ugg has released a capsule collection of its signature boots in collaboration with fashion designer Jeremy Scott.
From the September 13, the capsule collection will be available both in Ugg flagship stores and online.
The capsule collection comprises footwear for men and women with designs inspired by the culture of California and Los Angeles. Some of the pieces include the “Classic Short Jewel” and the “Ansley Jewels” which have bead- and jewellery-decorated metal fixtures that were meticulously selected by Jeremy Scott himself. Because the decoration is crafted entirely by hand, it takes a week to make just one pair of boots, according to the company. Boots “Classic Short Flames” which are embroidered with flames; the “Coquette Flames”; and the “Ugg Life Mini” boots embroidered with the words “Ugg Life” are also part of the collection.
For the campaign, Jeremy Scott himself appears next to the musician Lil Yachty and model Jasmine Sanders. The photoshoot was executed by photographer Marcus Mam and took place in a suburb of Los Angeles with assistance from designer Arianne Phillips.
