The CFDA announced on Thursday the nominees and honorees for the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards in partnership with Amazon Fashion.

The Awards ceremony and gala dinner, to be held at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City on November 6, will span the usual categories including designers of the year for womenswear, menswear and accessories.
“This year’s nominees and honorees are diverse, creative, and entrepreneurial, and each, in their own way, is reshaping the present and future of our industry and the global fashion landscape,” said Steven Kolb, CEO of the CFDA.
“We look forward to celebrating all talents at the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards presented by Amazon Fashion this fall.”
The nominees for American Womenswear Designer of the Year are Joseph Altuzarra for Altuzarra, Christopher John Rogers, Catherine Holstein for Khaite, Raul Lopez for Luar, and Tory Burch.
For the Menswear Designer of the Year, Mike Amiri for Amiri, Willy Chavarria, and Colm Dillane for KidSuper, will square off against Teddy von Ranson for Teddy Vonranson, and returning nominee Thom Browne for Thom Browne New York.
Likewise, for American Accessory Designer of the Year, it’s Ana Khouri, Brandon Blackwood, and Stuart Vevers for Coach, who will be up against Raul Lopez for Luar, and Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen for The Row.
The nominees for the Shop with Google American Emerging Designer of the Year are Bach Mai, Connor McKnight, Rachel Scott for Diotima, Tanner Richie and Fletcher Kasell for Tanner Fletcher, and Carly Mark for Puppets And Puppets.
In terms of honourees, the Board of Directors' Tribute will go to Vera Wang in recognition of her impact on the bridal category. Domenico De Sole will receive the Founder’s Award in honor of Eleanor Lambert, while Maria Cornejo will receive the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award.
The Media Award in honor of Eugenia Sheppard is set to go to Alina Cho and the Environmental Sustainability Award will be presented to Mara Hoffman. Lastly, the International Designer of the Year is Jonathan Anderson for J.W. Anderson and Loewe.
Looking ahead, additional award announcements are expected to be made in the coming weeks.
