Two years after taking a minority stake in Pai Skincare, Famille C Participations, the investment fund of the Courtin family, owners of the Clarins group, has made a second investment in the London-based certified organic skincare brand, becoming its majority shareholder.

Following this transaction, which is part of a Series C fundraising of £14 million (€15.9 million), Sarah Brown, who co-founded Pai Skincare in 2007, retains what she describes as an important shareholding position in the company.
Mainly present in the UK, its domestic market, and in France, via Sephora shops but also Oh My Cream!, Pai Skincare, which is very committed to eco-responsibility, develops and manufactures its formulas and products in its own factory. This new investment will enable it to strengthen and accelerate its distribution in Europe. By 2025, Pai Skincare had sales of £10.5 million.
"Famille C Participations' ambition is to become an international leader in the responsible cosmetics sector, as demonstrated by the investments and acquisitions made in this field in recent years. Famille C Participations is unique in that it combines the advantages of a group with those of an investment fund with solid and strategic financial capabilities", explains Prisca Courtin, managing director of Famille C Participations and chairwoman of the Clarins supervisory committee.
In May 2025, Famille C Participations acquired the American clean beauty make-up brand, Ilia.
