French luxury fashion brand Louis Vuitton opened on Friday its new Brisbane flagship store, located in the city's Queen Street Mall.

Located in the former National Australia Bank building, the new Louis Vuitton Brisbane store spans three floors and takes architectural interior design cues from the maison's Place Vendôme store in its native Paris, while respecting the former bank's aesthetic lending itself to light woods and tonal colours.
On the ground floor, visitors will find the Louis Vuitton women's collection, displayed under special lighting to highlight the heritage building's ceiling and pilasters. Downstairs, the basement houses the luxury brand's men's collections, while a selection of Louis Vuitton’s accessories, watches and jewellery, fragrance and Objets Nomades can be found throughout in the store.
Upstairs, a mezzanine level is comprised of two salons for VIP clients, and a gallery that exhibits various artists from Sydney's China Heights Gallery, with artists on rotation throughout the space.
The store also boasts artwork from First Nations artist and pro surfer Otis Carey, who designed a bespoke mural for the staircase that connects the ground floor and basement levels. Elsewhere, more artworks and furniture pieces are on display in store from Edward Linacre, George Hall, Khai Liew, Gustave Xavier and Thomas Lentini.
The opening comes on the back of the news in early March that the Parisian label will unveil its 2025 cruise collection at Isola Bella in Lake Maggiore on May 24. The event will be preceded in April by Nicolas Ghesquière’s first fall pre-collection show, to be staged in Korea.
