Lids is bringing its exclusive headwear experience to Los Angeles with the opening of its latest retail concept, Lids HD, at Cerritos Mall.
The 1,055-square-foot store will feature limited-edition headwear drops, merchandise from local teams, digital screens showcasing Lids’ content, on-site customization, and the latest product releases. A standout design element of the new location is a mural created by multimedia artist Joshua Vides.
As part of the opening, a portion of all in-store purchases made at Lids HD LA from March 28 to March 30 will be matched by the Lids Foundation and donated to Good Sports’ “Restore Play LA Recovery Fund”.
“We’re thrilled to support the opening of the new Lids HD store in Los Angeles, bringing an elevated shopping experience to the heart of the city,” said Sarah Lim, executive director of the Lids Foundation.
“In light of the recent Palisades fires, we’re committed to giving back to our community by donating a portion of our proceeds to Good Sports to support their youth sports programs and help rebuild stronger together.”
The first exclusive hat to drop during the opening will be the Uniform Pinwheel 5950. This design incorporates each MLB team’s home and away jersey colors, featuring a mix of team wordmarks and uniform elements.
The opening follows the success of LidsHD online store, and previous store openings in Queens, St. Louis, and Houston.
