Watches of Switzerland’s high-end jeweller Mappin & Webb has opened a new showroom in the heart of the luxury retail quarter on Multrees Walk, Edinburgh, becoming the brand’s largest showroom in Scotland.

The new two-storey showroom is in line with the usual Mappin & Webb luxury experience. The ground floor features dedicated brand areas, including Cartier, Tank, Santos de Cartier, and Ballon Bleu de Cartier, also with the latest iterations of Panthère de Cartier, Tank Normale, and Baignoire.
There are also branded watch areas featuring Tudor, Breitling and Girard-Perregaux, the latter featuring the Watches of Switzerland centenary exclusive Laureato timepiece. Each brand area offers a “personalised shopping experience”, Mappin & Webb said.
The first floor houses its wide selection of jewellery, including offerings from Pasquale Bruni, and the retailer's own limited edition diamond jewellery. It also includes a dedicated area for the Watches of Switzerland pre-owned timepieces, and a dedicated aftersales area.
In addition, customers can also relax within the bar/hospitality area.
The prestige Edinburgh opening follows the refurbishment of its Glasgow showroom late last year with a contemporary two-storey showroom featuring entrances on Argyll Arcade and Buchanan Street.
Ahead of the summer Olympics, Mappin & Webb earlier launched a jewellery collection in collaboration with Team GB, the UK’s Olympic team. This is the first partnership of its kind for Team GB, it features two collections of mostly unisex jewellery, including pendants, bracelets, rings, cufflinks and lace tags, featuring the Olympic five-ring symbol and the Union flag.
