Liverpool One continues to be a retail brand magnet with operator Grosvenor announcing the return of Swiss watch brand Swatch to the city.

Set to open a 600 sq ft space on Paradise Street, Swatch will join the mall’s line-up of well-known brands, especially in the jewellery and watch sector, “demonstrating yet another significant vote of confidence in the destination and reinforcing its reputation as a go-to hub for leading global retailers”, Grosvenor said.

The unit is set to display over 500 different watches, showcasing a selection of classic styles and contemporary options. In line with the brand’s tech-first approach, Swatch Liverpool One will feature “an immersive atmosphere, allowing consumers to interact with the products” including a Swatch X You space, for customers to create and personalise their timepieces.

Rob Deacon, Asset Management Director at Grosvenor, said: “Swatch’s decision to return to Liverpool One with its latest standalone concept store is a testament to our continued commitment to curating an innovative and distinctly unique line-up of retailers.”

The announcement follows the news that women’s active streetwear brand Red Run has opened its new flagship store at the mall, as has clothing and footwear brand Arne, recently hosting a pop-up store.
