Batavia Stad Fashion Outlet announces a growth in sales and number of visitors. The Lelystad-based fashion destination has seen a 14 percent rise in sales in the first half of 2025, compared to the first half of 2025. The number of visitors grew by 12 percent in HY1 2025 compared to HY1 2025.
The fashion outlet, which launched in 2001, re-opened its doors in May of this year after a third expansion that added 45 new stores. The centre currently features 150 stores, offering a total of 250 brands, including Adidas, Hunkemöller, Scotch & Soda, Nike, Michael Kors and Armani. The brands at Batavia Stad Fashion Outlet offer a 30 to 70 percent discount and offer ranges in the menswear, womenswear and children's apparel categories.
The outlet centre has a strong focus on non-EU visitors. With services such as its tax refund desk, non-EU visitors who spend more than 50 euros will receive an immediate tax return at the spot. According to Batavia’s statistics the top three countries from which their non-EU customers come are China, Egypt and Indonesia.
