Armani Privé officially declared mauve the color of the season for Spring 2025 at its couture show in Paris Tuesday.

The Italian house put on a show that managed to combine 1960s vibes, 1930s detailing and futuristic structures, all while sticking to a single color pal
In contrast, Bouchra Jarrar's show was an exercise in pin-sharp tailoring and edgy elegance. The French couturier teamed flared tuxedo trousers with bipped-in waistcoats, sheer lace slips with biker boots and debuted a selection of gorgeoulsy fluid ivory silk halterneck dresses and tops. Asymmetric hemlines, ziplines and lapels created a chunky layered effect and there were fur stoles, gilets and trims to add a hedonistic touch to the diverse ensembles.

Full-on bombshell sexiness was the name of the game at French label Alexandre Vauthier, where the first few looks, comprising thigh-high boots, crotch-skimming basics and chunky overcoats boldly laid out the designer's intentions. A chiffon dress was raunched up with leather harness straps, animal print lace was used for leggings and mini dresses and a wet-look scarlett leather jumpsuit was covered in biker zips and teamed with oversized clear-rimmed glasses for added effect. The designer caved to convention at certain points, notably to debut a stunning olive green billowing train mini dress and a frothy, pleated crimson gown.
