London’s Bond Street continues to attract major luxury global names with the latest being Danish jewellery designer Georg Jensen. It will open a new flagship store at 108 New Bond Street towards the end of this year.

It has taken a 10-year lease on the building that provides approximately 5,000 sq ft of retail space set over three floors. When open it will display Georg Jensen’s full range of designer jewellery, silver holloware and homeware collections.
The store is next door to Diptyque’s new (and largest) London store and opposite a number of key brands that will be opening their doors in the months ahead and that should breathe life back into a part of Bond Street that has been under development for some time.
They include DSquared2, Hackett and Bang & Olufsen alongside Opera Gallery’s new home. The newly opened Elizabeth line transport link in Hanover Square, immediately behind this part of Bond Street, provides access to Heathrow within 30 minutes, which is key for international shoppers.
Savills acted for the landlord on the deal and its director Anthony Selwyn said: “These are exciting times for the pitch just north of Brook street with little availability now following the substantial redevelopment of these buildings. This part of New Bond Street will now truly provide the final piece of London’s premier luxury location.”
Georg Jensen had conducted a two-year search for a suitable flagship “to show all the brand's products in an appropriately exciting and prestigious environment following their departure from Mount Street”.
