The 1,851 sq ft central Aberdeen store is a shift to a new location, creating 10 jobs. Meanwhile, 377 miles south-south west, FatFace has also opened a new store in the Isle of Man, with the 1,697 sq ft space on Strand Street, Douglas, announcing the brand’s debut on the island. It also creates eight new jobs.

Both new stores feature the brand’s latest collection as well as items from its core range.

Stores director Karen Johnston said of the Scottish opening: “Our first store in the Bon Accord Centre [allows us to] continue serving our loyal customers in Aberdeen. This new location [enables] us to bring our unique product offering to even more people in the city while maintaining our strong connection with the local community.”

And commenting on the Isle of Man opening, Johnston added: “This is an exciting opportunity for us to connect with a new community and bring our unique range of products to customers in Douglas. We are extremely proud to be a B Corp [eco certified business] and this store reflects those values by reusing much of the existing shop fit.”

This means FatFace now operates 192 stores in the UK, six in ROI, and over 20 in the US and Canada.
