Nicole Trunfio, founder of Bumpsuit, hosted a press dinner this week at the Sunset Tower Hotel restaurant, to launch The Village, a new community platform for mothers using Web3 technology.

Built in partnership with Ty Haney, former founder of Outdoor Voices and now head of Try Your Best (TYB), The Village is an integrated community commerce platform that brings mothers accross the world together. Mothers will be the first to know and shop new product launches, get special invites to digital and IRL events, and are incentivized to give input on new products and colorways when they earn rewards that will be redeemable for discounts.
“The aim of The Village is for women to feel more informed, confident, empowered, and a part of a community at times when they can feel vulnerable,” said Trunfio. “We want to educate mothers and evolve together in the most informed way. TYB has given us a platform to connect directly with our community and hear their needs and desires. As a brand built to ‘serve’ this is invaluable for us.”
TYB, founded by Ty Haney, is a community channel that allows brands to make their communities grow by engaging directly with their audience and reward their biggest fans through an end-to-end community management platform. With TYB’s events feature, brands for the first time can manage, connect, reward, and measure both digital and IRL engagement.
"The future of brand-building is by community, for community, and owned by community,” said Haney. “Nicole has always understood this and it's at the core of Bumpsuit's village #thebumpclub, powered by TYB. As a mom of two toddlers, I'm excited to have a place to share my stories, and hear others, as we contribute to the growth of the brand - and get access to cool perks for doing so!"
Founded in 2025, Bumpsuit is recording sales revenues of $10 million and plans to reach $20 million in the next 12-18 months.
