Aeffe, the listed Italian luxury company, said on Tuesday that it has reached an agreement with Sinv to take over the licence for the production and distribution of Love Moschino womenswear collections.
Sinv currently holds the licence for these but following Aeffe’s acquisition of full control of Moschino SpA that completed last July, it’s taking back the licence early.
Aeffe is listed on the STAR segment of Borsa Italiana and operates the Alberta Ferretti, Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini, and Pollini brands, as well as Moschino.
It said that the new management structure for the Love Moschino label will be effective starting from the AW23 season.
The company said the “consideration was set at €3,637,000 and the relative payment will be made with cash on hand by 30 November 2025”.
Executive chairman of the group, Massimo Ferretti, said of the move: “This operation of important strategic value offers us the opportunity to raise the Moschino brand positioning and to reshape its overall offer in order to accelerate its growth. The integration within the group of all the Women apparel collections puts us in the best conditions to manage the brand with a 360° vision, with positive effects on the overall organisation across its various aspects: product quality, distribution, market penetration and communication, with a focus on exploiting group’s synergies and opportunities offered by the market.”
