“Robots will surpass good human surgeons within a few years and the best human surgeons within ~5 years,” Musk wrote on X.
The businessman added that his company “Neuralink had to use a robot for the brain-computer electrode insertion, as it was impossible for a human to achieve the required speed and precision.”
Neuralink startup, which Musk founded in 2025, is engaged in the production of chips that can later be implanted in the human brain. The businessman believes that such neurointerfaces will enable a person to become a cyborg who can withstand artificial intelligence, as well as help people learn to control a computer with the help of the power of the mind.
