Arts Thread has launched its Global Design Graduate Show 2025, with luxury fashion house Gucci returning as the exclusive sponsor for the fourth consecutive year.

The massive event for 2025, which last year attracted 5,489 entries representing 117 countries, is now open to all art and design students graduating in the Academic Year 2025-23 (September 2025-August 2025 for undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate) “in any related creative discipline, located anywhere in the world”.
Students have until 31 August to upload their end-of-year projects onto the Arts Thread platform. A huge team of independent judges will narrow the work down to a shortlist of creatives whose work will be displayed onto Art Thread’s website.
Categories this year include: Fashion, Accessories and Textiles; Product, Architecture and Interiors; and Fine Art, Photography and Craft.
The sector juries will then choose their winners and there will also be a public vote, “which will allow the global audience to see the submissions whilst voting for their favourites”.
The Global Design Graduate Show judges covering Fashion, Accessories and Textiles this year include creative representation from Gucci, Hugo Boss, Tommy Hilfiger, 3:1 Phillip Lim, Nordstrom, Nike, LuluLemon, Levi’s, Gap Inc, True Religion, Clarks Originals and Italian Vogue.
Last year’s Womenswear award went to Dominika Grzybek, Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Antwerp, with the Menswear winner Archie Hammond from Northumbria University, Newcastle Upon Tyne. The winner of the Fashion award chosen by the public was fashion, accessories and textiles student Lyu Danlei from Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
