Jacob Elordi plays an Australian war hero in Prime Video's The Narrow Road to the Deep North, based on the Man Booker Prize-winning novel by Richard Flanagan.

Elordi stars as Dorrigo Evans, a medical officer who becomes a prisoner of war. He is also haunted by his passionate affair with his uncle's wife. The script is written by Shaun Grant and depicts Elordi's character as a war hero who becomes a respected surgeon upon returning home. The series spans a decade and was filmed in New South Wales.

The film premiered at the Berlin Film Festival and stars Elordi alongside Ciaran Hinds, Olivia DeJonge, Heather Mitchell, Shaw Kasamatsu, Thomas Weatherall and Simon Baker.
