Angel Central in London’s Islington has joined the roster of shopping destinations that finished 2025 on a high.

The CBRE Investment Management-operated centre reported sales increased 16% compared with 2025. The destination’s footfall also increased 6.4% compared to the national average of 2.9%, and transactions rose by 4%, it added.
The success comes as fashion footwear retailer Office opened a 1,969 sq ft store at the Upper Street entrance to Angel Central, stocking collections including Dr Martens, Nike, Adidas and Ugg, as well as a selection of accessories.
A spokesperson from Office said: “Our London stores have always performed well within our portfolio. Angel Central… is a high-performing destination with a real community feel, delivering us a prominent unit in a high footfall area.”
The centre has also introduced a refurbished store for long-standing tenant Accessorize, sitting adjacent to Office, redesigned “to enhance the customer journey” with improved light fixtures and signage, “creating a more inviting and appealing atmosphere”.
They join a portfolio of leading labels including anchor brands Uniqlo and H&M, alongside Rituals and Muji.
Louisa Butters, Head of Retail Asset Management UK at CBRE Investment Management, added: “Angel Central continues to create opportunities for brands to thrive within Islington, with a strong community at its core and a quality offer of retail, F&B, and leisure.”
