Space NK is continuing its UK expansion programme and is to make its debut at one of the country’s most successful malls, the Grosvenor-operated Liverpool One.
It will join a line-up of premium lifestyle brands on Peter’s Lane in June with a curated selection of over a hundred beauty brands, including Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez, and Rose Inc from Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
It’s taking a 1,850 sq ft space to add to an estate that now numbers 73 stores across the UK and Ireland.
The store will feature dedicated consultation areas for make-up and skincare and a treatment room. The cost of treatments will be redeemable against purchases in-store.
CEO Andy Lightfoot said that Liverpool One has been one of the most requested destinations for it to open a store for some time. And reflecting its importance, it features the brand’s new design “which represents the physical evolution of Space NK; a more customer-centric, welcoming environment with more brands, more choice, more exclusives all there to be touched and tried, together with our expert staff”.
Liverpool One has really been on a roll in recent periods with a number of high-profile openings and signings that reflect its North-West England destination status.
In fact, Rob Deacon, Senior Asset Manager at Grosvenor (which part-owns the mall as well as operating it), described Liverpool as “the UK’s beauty capital” and the centre itself as “the region’s leading destination for premium lifestyle brands”.
The Space NK June opening will happen at the same time as Sweaty Betty also opens on Peter’s Lane.
