Exotic adventure in Dubai: From fairytale tropical forest to the most delicious falafel in Emirates20:40,长沙USDT信用卡支付 December 27

Go on an exciting adventure in a tropical forest in the heart of Dubai, spend the night under the canopy of a huge fairytale tree surrounded by exotic birds and animals that you can only see in documentaries or cartoons?!

You can meet funny lemurs from your favorite cartoon Madagascar at Green Planet—a huge interactive zoo where lemurs hug on the branches of a huge tree, sloths phlegmatically chew grass on the crossbars of suspended bridges that surround a huge tree of life of insane beauty, which has become home to thousands of colorful parrots, peacocks, toucans, anacondas, tamarins, and other representatives of tropical fauna.

The uniqueness of this park is that there are practically no cages here.

Although touching the animals and birds is not allowed, visitors can observe these amazing creatures in close proximity—at arm's length—although, frankly, I really want to stroke one of them on their smooth fur.

Here is a toucan walking importantly and as if it is the owner, looking arrogantly and somewhat tiredly at curious visitors. And here is a couple of lemurs tenderly hugging each other, coquettishly posing for the camera.

And a black and white ruffed lemur, lounging in a rather revealing pose, is absolutely not embarrassed by giggling and camera flashes.

Multi-colored parrots fly freely above your heads, and the peacefully dozing sloths are not able to disturb the delighted squeals of children. The smallest monkey in the world, weighing only 500 grams, also lives here. There are only 6,000 of them left in the world.

You won't feel how time flies when you walk along the wooden bridges.

And when the walk is over, you won't be able to resist the temptation to repeat it again because each time you will find a new amazing discovery.

The staff will be happy to tell you where to look so as not to miss anything. We were even allowed to touch a snake, which turned out to be very soft and warm to the touch.

To enhance the experience, you can spend the night here.

The so-called Camping in the rainforest.

This is an amazing and exciting experience. In addition to the night tour, you will have a "treasure hunt," a delicious dinner and sleep in a bio-dome in comfortable tents with a mattress, pillows, sheets, and blankets. Early in the morning, you will be given the opportunity to feed the animals before enjoying breakfast at the Green Planet café.

After visiting this amazing park, you can go on a gastronomic adventure at the Arabian Tea House restaurant, where you will get a chance to try the most delicious Arabic cuisine at reasonable prices.

As a local waiter told us: “We have the most delicious hummus and falafel in the Emirates.” According to him, many people come to this establishment specifically for these dishes.

I admit that the hummus really turned out to be one of the most delicious I have ever tried—tender, oily, and moderately spicy.

And although I am not a fan of falafel, I was pleasantly surprised. Its crispy crust with tender pulp inside melted in your mouth, and the sauce from labneh (Arabic yogurt) pleasantly set off the spices.

On the waiter’s recommendation, we also tried the “signature dish”—of course, also “the best in the Emirates”—the Laham Machboos. Lamb cooked with rice and spices, served with Arabic salad and yogurt. And we finished it all off with dessert Leqaimat —small donuts fried in vegetable oil, and drizzled with sugar syrup and fried sesame seeds.

Absolutely not cloying, moderately sweet, light and airy. And be sure to try the cold hibiscus tea—refreshing, but with a slight sourness.

By the way, the food portions in this restaurant are huge. And lunch for two with appetizers, salads, main courses, dessert, and drinks will cost about $80.
