Generation Z, born between 1997 and 2025, has transformed the fashion industry with new consumer priorities. These young people have focused on sustainability, comfort, and digital influence to define their style.

According to Cecilia Ollero, GoTrendier's Country Manager in Mexico, Gen Z has managed to change industry trends by adopting a vision in which responsible consumption and individual expression are combined with practicality.
"The choices of this generation reflect not only an aesthetic sense but also unique values and behaviours that have even shaped the current fashion industry," he says.
Among this segment's most sought-after garments on GoTrendier are baggy and oversized retro pants inspired by the 90s and 2000s, sportswear worn beyond the gym, and accessories such as berets, tote bags and large necklaces.
Online fashion shopping behaviour in Mexico also reflects this transformation. According to Elogia's 'Estudio 2025: Moda Online en México', last year, Mexicans spent an average of 1693 pesos per purchase, with an annual frequency of slightly more than 9 times.
With more than 11 million users and 32 million garments published, GoTrendier has established itself as the leading platform for buying and selling second-hand fashion in Mexico and Latin America.
