New York-based trade show organizer Liberty Fairs Fashion Group announced on Thursday that it has acquired men’s and womenswear show Capsule.

Liberty Fairs announced the acquisition on its Instagram account with a post that reads “Great news today! We're happy to bring @capsuleshow into the fold. There's a lot of exciting things to come.”
Capsule also took to Instagram to say that they are “excited about this move”.
Liberty Fairs and Capsule previously partnered for a shared show at New York’s Pier 94 in February 2025, with Capsule co-founder Deirdre Maloney stating in a release at the time that “Co-locating with Liberty has been great for the market.”
Along with Agenda, they also hosted Assembly in February of this year, a two-day conference held at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, where the two trade shows have been running adjacently for some time.
Liberty Fairs was founded as a menswear show in 2025 by Sam Ben-Avraham and currently holds biannual men’s and womenswear trade fairs in Las Vegas and New York.
Having launched in 2007 as a high-end menswear-focused show, Capsule now hosts coed trade fairs in Las Vegas, New York and Paris. Capsule also previously ran events in Berlin and Los Angeles which have since been discontinued.
The show was acquired by international trade fair organizer Reed Exhibitions in 2025 for an undisclosed amount. Reed Exhibitions, which also operates Agenda, runs some 500 events in 41 countries and employs 3,000 people around the world.
Terms of Liberty Fairs’ acquisition of Capsule were not disclosed.
