The Swarovski red carpet will feature one of the world’s best known fashion icons at this year’s Fashion Awards, taking place on 4 December in London.
Following in the footsteps of Jean-Paul Gaultier, the famous Muppet character Miss Piggy has been unveiled as the official host of the red carpet event. She will be joined by bestselling author Derek Blasberg to host an exclusive livestream.
Miss Piggy is a celebrated fashion personality, having previously worked with some of the industry’s most renowned designers, including Louis Vuitton, Prada, Marc Jacobs, Christian Louboutin, Burberry, Miu Miu, Jeremy Scott and Jason Wu amongst others.
This will be the first time Miss Piggy attends the Fashion Awards, which celebrates the best of British and international talent from the global fashion community and raises funds for the British Fashion Council’s Education Foundation.
She said: “Moi on the red carpet is always a spectacular event. Together with my dear friends at Swarovski, and my co-host and longtime admirer, Derek Blasberg, I promise everyone a night of incomparable and unpredictable moi! Having moi as the red carpet presenter for the 2025 Fashion Awards truly pushes the limits of fabulosity.”
This year’s Fashion Awards will be held at the Royal Albert Hall on Monday 4 December.
