Professor Jimmy Choo’s JCA | London Fashion Academy has announced the opening of the JCA Gallery, a showcase of the talent of its learners.

Located in the academy’s Hanover Square campus in London’s West End, the new ground floor gallery is accompanied by JCA’s first move into e-commerce.

It’s a space for designers to display their garments and accessories with the physical gallery being supported by a new e-tail section of JCA’s website from this week, “allowing the public to buy and rent products from [the] academy’s learners for the very first time”.

It’s offering products from both the Undergraduate and Masters programmes and this gives the students a platform to enter the world of retail. The Gallery was “conceived as an immersive experience, with each young designer's works being presented exhibition style”.

It will be open from 10am to 5.30pm, Tuesdays through Thursdays weekly, by appointment only, withJCA staff able to assist customers through their rental journey if in person, “or the same seamless experience with the convenience of the online presence”.

It’s an undeniably interesting development that gives those studying at the academy direct experience of the world of commerce before they graduate, while at the same time offering consumers something different.
