Dune London is taking advantage of its growing international appeal, announcing a raft of new stores that are set to open across the globe.
These include the Middle East, Africa, Pakistan and India this year, as the footwear/accessories retailer continues its successful international rollout.
How successful? Overseas retail ops now account for 26% of total, via 131 franchise stores and 48 European retail units, as the group expands across new and existing markets.
Extending its 15-year association with the Middle East, Dune will add 10 new stores to its 65 franchised stores there, expanding in Saudi Arabia, initially targeting Riyadh, within the next couple of months.
After debuting in Lagos, Nigeria, last year, Dune said its first store had exceeded its budget target by more than 50%, so four new stores are to open there this year on the back of its success.
Stores are also scheduled to launch in Pakistan and India during 2025 and franchised stores will be opening or the first time in Egypt, with further concessions planned for Australia, North Africa and South America.
Meanwhile, Dune’s recent US online collaborations with department stores Nordstrom and Dillard’s are understood to have exceeded expectations with strong demand for dressy styles and boots.
