Anglo-Dutch food and consumer goods company Unilever is launching a new beauty brand. The eco-friendly brand, named Love Beauty and Planet will be available at US drugstores from January 2025 on.

Love Beauty and Planet consists of a total of 18 hair care products and 8 body products. The hair care products include hair oil, shampoo, conditioner and dry shampoo. Body products include body wash, scrub and refreshers. All products are priced between $3 and $9, which all come in 100% recyclable packaging.
The Love Beauty and Planet products are divided into six collections, which all have their own ingredients and scents. The range is made up of the following: murumuru butter and rose; tea tree oil and vetiver; argan oil and lavender; coconut oil and ylang ylang; coconut water & mimosa flower; and shea butter and sandalwood.
Piyush Jain, Global Vice President at Unilever said: “I believe that we can deliver our products by creating brands that deliver great beauty results and also respect our carbon footprint.”
With the launch, Love Beauty and Planet aims to reach six sustainable goals, including: sourcing responsible ingredients, reduce waste, save water, reduce carbon footprint, supporting environmental activists and launch at least three new beauty product innovations by 2025.
Unilever is currently home to beauty brands such as Dove, Axe and Sunsilk. Earlier this year it announced the acquisition of Korean beauty brand Carver and New York-based Sundial Brands, growing its beauty offering.
