UK hairstyling brand Mark Hill Hair has added 18 of its products to the Amazon platform, just weeks after ending its exclusive online retail agreement with high street health & beauty giant Boots and also entering a deal with PretyyLittleThing.

Saying that Amazon is used by 86% of UK consumers and is a pivotal platform for the haircare brand as it targets a wider audience, the home hairstyling brand has joined the digital giant ahead of Black Friday and Christmas and the rest of the key Golden Quarter.

Central is Mark Hill Hair’s ‘Pick ‘n’ Mix’ range of hot hair tools that allows users “to swap between more than 20 different barrels to create a broad range of hairstyles at home”.

As mentioned, the move onto the Amazon platform follows on from the brand recently agreeing on a deal with fashion retailer PrettyLittleThing to stock its products online alongside its fashion and beauty ranges. That followed the signing of a non-exclusive contract with high street retailer Boots. The latter had been the brand’s exclusive retailer for as long as 20 years.

Leanne Heath, managing director at Mark Hill Hair said: “Adding Amazon to our growing list of retailers greatly expands our reach, making our products even more accessible to customers.

“This is the next step in our journey to grow our online presence and we hope to bring an even broader range of products to the platform in the coming months.”
