Courrèges has opened its second store in central Paris at 27 rue des Francs-Bourgeois. It follows the inaugural store’s Marais debut in 2025.

The company said that the new location “is both a satellite and an evolution of the historic François 1er address".

The 235 sq m space “celebrates the diverse community that defines the Marais district — a combination of historical landmarks, art venues and queer underground, the Marais embodies the contrasting identities of Parisian life and of Nicolas Di Felice’s Courrèges”.

The space was designed by Belgian architect Bernard Dubois with its look, defined by its high ceilings, “conceived in accordance with legacy codes and Di Felice’s post-modern approach”.

Also key features are arched alcoves, white flooring, mirrored walls and club-inspired spotlights.

The layout is centred around an elongated gallery that opens onto rounded corners that are covered in mirrors, with one dedicated to accessories. Integrated shelving and furniture “are a continuation of the vocabulary used in the New York store, complementing the codes established in previous Paris projects”.

Both men’s and women’s collections take centre-stage, “invigorating Courrèges’ commitment to a universal wardrobe”.

The store will launch officially during the city’s men’s fashion week on 20 June with photographer Mark Borthwick signing exclusive prints of outtakes of the SS25 men’s collection and women’s pre-collection shoot for the label to commemorate the occasion.
