Alexandre Vauthier has announced a brand new shoe collaboration with Giuseppe Zanotti, covering the design, production and wholesale distribution of his footwear collection.

The Paris based designer plans to unveil the collection to the public in his next haute couture show, in what is expected to be another phygital season in Paris in January 2025. However, the pre-collection is to be shown to key international key clients already starting December 6 in Milan and December 7 in New York. The collection will eventually hit retail stores from May 2025.
A trademark license partnership, it marks a clever link-up between Gauthier, one of the most exciting independent couturiers in Paris, known for his rock-n-roll glamour and French panache, with Zanotti, a legendary figure in Italian footwear recognized for his bravura sense of modern elegance, from his bejeweled heels to fashion-forward Rockstar sneakers.
Their debut Fall/Winter 2025 collection aims to be redolent of the '70s and '80s and the dashing demi-monde of Parisian nightlife.

“For this collaboration I wanted to create a very distinctive selection of footwear that felt like a natural extension of my collection and also which complements the confident personalities of the Alexandre Vauthier woman. The women who wear my collections around the world are both sensual and powerful and this collaboration with Giuseppe Zanotti was made for these bold and inspiring women. Giuseppe understood this perfectly and together we took distinctive details of my couture collection and interpreted them into this footwear collection,” said Vauthier in a release.
Comprising some 90 signature styles, including evening sandals, platforms, daytime flats, booties, and biker boots, the collection will be produced in Giuseppe Zanotti Italian production facilities and sold through the brand’s Milan and New York showrooms.
“Working with Alexandre has felt very natural; right from the beginning I’ve realized we speak to the same woman with our work and I believe you’ll see this energy running from the clothes to the shoes and vice versa,” added Zanotti.
