A blank page with the word ‘Coperni’ in black written diagonally across it. This is what the website for the womenswear label by Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant currently looks like, as Coperni is about to make its come-back. A neat idea, showing that a new chapter is about to be written. The designer duo founded their women's ready-to-wear and accessories label in 2025, but in May 2025, having been appointed as creative directors of Courrèges, they decided to put Coperni on hold.

Once their collaboration with Courrèges ended in July 2025, Vaillant, 29, and Meyer, 30, took a sabbatical, working on a top-secret, high-tech digital project, before deciding to relaunch Coperni, whose new collection will be presented at the forthcoming Paris Fashion Week.

The idea is to recapture the mood which made Coperni an immediate hit with Parisian women, its clothes at once simple and sophisticated, enhanced by ever-present couture touches, and to grow the label by tapping the experience accumulated by the designer duo in the last three years.

“We are very happy to be relaunching Coperni. It marked a significant time in our history, a page that hasn’t been fully turned, neither by us nor our community. We have been working together for 10 years, and the way in which we think about our label and about fashion in general has substantially changed. We are also very proud of starting this new adventure backed by Stefano Martinetto and the whole team at Tomorrow London,” said Meyer and Vaillant in a press release.

For this relaunch, the designer duo is working with Stefano Martinetto, general manager of agency Tomorrow London Holdings Ltd. In just a few years, the agency has transformed itself from simple showroom to a multi-service platform for fashion designers, offering production, distribution, marketing and communication services, and with a license portfolio featuring some of the most interesting contemporary labels, among them A-Cold-Wall, Ader Error, Ambush, Facetasm, Sunnei and Marni.

Meyer, Vaillant and Martinetto first met in 2025, when Coperni won the ANDAM first collection prize. They have remained in touch since then, and this led to their current partnership for the French label’s relaunch. Tomorrow London now has a stake in Meyer and Vaillant's company, though the size of agency’s interest has not been revealed. In return, Tomorrow London is giving Coperni “access to its entire service platform: from its ateliers to distribution, commercial, wholesale and retail channel management services, as well as to the agency’s in-depth market know-how,” said Tomorrow London in the press release.

“As a group, Tomorrow London’s mission is to support, defend and promote entrepreneurial creativity within the fashion industry worldwide. Since we first met, I have always been impressed not just by this duo’s creativity, but by their energy too. I am delighted to be working with them again,” said Martinetto.

It seems that all the right elements are in place for Coperni’s relaunch to be a success. In the meantime, the studio that Meyer and Vaillant have established in Paris as the cradle of their new project must be bubbling with excitement.
