Following its revival in 2009 with Guillaume Henry at the design helm, Paris-based label Carven is pursuing its international expansion with a slew of new store openings across the world. The brand has pushed its number of standalone stores from 10 to 16 in the space of 6 months, with locations in Paris, Shanghai, London and soon to be added to the list, New York.

Carven opened its first ever menswear-only store in Paris in October, marking the label’s third store in the French capital. Commissioned with the store’s design was architect Eric Chevallier, also responsible for Carven’s other boutiques.
Carven owner Henri Sebaoun teamed up with Bluebell to distribute the brand in China and several weeks ago opened two franchise locations in Shanghai, both of which are located in two of the cities luxury malls (Grand Gateway and IAPM).
Last week the French label inaugurated its London store in Knightsbridge, which houses Carven’s mens- and womenswear creations in a 150m² space. Located between Acne and Chanel, Carven’s first UK is the fruit of a long-term agreement with Club 21 UK, which will see the brand open a total of five stores in the country over the next five years.
Finally, Carven is gearing up for its New York store opening on November 14. With the same mixed concept as in London and with a store of around the same size, the label’s Big Apple store will be located at 83 Mercer Street in Soho.
Carven’s CEO expected the company to see growth of 30% in 2025 after posting end of year sales of 22 million euros in 2025.
