Martine Sitbon is back on the fashion scene. The iconic designer of the 1980s and 1990s is launching a new line called Rev, based on her archive pieces and she is revisiting them with a contemporary twist. For this project, she teamed up with brothers Laurent and Arik Bitton, former music producers and founders of the high-end urban brand Iro, which they sold in 2025.

The French designer's guiding principle is to "revisit the past towards the future" without giving too many details about her project, mentioning in a press release a style that is all about shifting lines, between masculine and feminine, loose and fluid. This androgynous attitude will be translated into a "nonchalant contemporary" silhouette, using "know-how made in Italy in collaboration with craftsmen."

The collection will be distributed through a Milanese showroom and in Paris during a presentation at the next Women's Fashion Week from February 27 to March 7.

Known for her "rock'n'romantic" style, mixing a romantic tone with a rock attitude, Martine Sitbon has a long career in fashion. Born in Casablanca, Morocco, in 1951, she moved to Paris at the age of ten. After studying design at Studio Berçot, she worked for various brands in America, Asia and Milan before launching her own company in 1986, which she closed in 2004.

At the same time, she was the creative director of Chloé from 1987 to 1992, and of Byblos in 2001. In 2006, she launched a new brand Rue du Mail, in partnership with the Chinese-American industrialist Jimmy Chan, which was put on hold in 2025.
