Edit Suits Co continues its expansion programme, opening two new north of England stores – on Manchester’s King Street and in Victoria Gate, Leeds. The made-to-measure suit retailer said the “state-of-the-art” stores will open in Leeds on 17 October, followed by Manchester on 31 October.

Each store follow’s the brand’s appointment service platform where customers are met with a personal stylist who runs them through its extensive customisations and fabrics. Each custom-made suit takes around three-to-six weeks to create, depending on fabric choice, and if alterations are required they are carried out locally. Because measurements are recorded in the customer’s profile they can reorder online, it noted. Custom-made suits are priced from £399 and shirts from £69.

Since opening its first showroom on London’s Bow Lane, the company has added showrooms on London’s Bond Street, in Birmingham, and in Singapore.

“Over the last few years we have been delighted with the growth of the business, even during the pandemic, and our two new UK stores are a testament to this success,” said business co-founder Patrick Reto.

“Manchester and Leeds are the perfect next steps for us – we have a number of clients from both cities who either shop online with us or travel to London, so it seemed right that we came to them instead. We were instantly impressed with King Street and Victoria Gate – they are steeped in history and have long been renowned as the premium retail destinations in the north of England.”
