Kering confirms its commitment to sustainable development. The French luxury group has announced a 5-year partnership with the London College of Fashion (LCF) Centre for Sustainable Fashion (CSF), which will be presented on Wednesday 29 October by François-Henri Pinault in the LCF's Rootstein Hopkins amphitheatre. The goal? "To promote sustainable design and innovation in the fashion industry," the group stated in a press release.

"By bringing together LCF students, designers, instructors, researchers and experts in the sector, this partnership will play the role of incubator to support new ideas on sustainable fashion," the group explains, convinced that sustainable development will play an increasingly crucial role in the fashion of tomorrow."
The partnership between CSF and Kering will focus around three projects: the holding of round tables, a competition, and the implementation of a joint course module between Kering and the Centre for Sustainable Fashion dedicated to the role of sustainable development today.
The "Kering Talks" will notably every year in October welcome experts and leaders from the fashion industry, who will come to discuss the latest developments in terms of sustainable fashion. The first "Kering Talk" will be given this Wednesday 29 October by the CEO of Kering, François-Henri Pinault.
The "Kering Award for Sustainable Fashion" competition, held every year by the Kering brands (Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, Puma...) and the CSF will be addressed to third year BA students and MA students in the disciplines of design, management and communication. The participants will have to find a solution to a concrete problem, faced on a daily basis by professionals in the industry, proposed by Kering, the group specified.
