Savile Row and its surrounding streets have welcomed a handful of new names ahead of Christmas as the West End of London continues to bounce back.

Local landlord The Pollen Estate said Savile Row, plus Clifford Street and Cork Street are now hosting Pineider, Fedro Gaudenzi, Perfumer H, HAX and Daniel Hanson.

It’s an interesting selection that shows the area moving beyond its traditional bespoke and made-to-order tailoring houses, to include contemporary perfumery and handcrafted stationery. It also highlights how it’s not only giant businesses that are opening in London’s most select areas with independents also taking space.

So what exactly do the newcomers do? Pineider is an Italian leather goods and stationery brand and has opened its doors at 3 Clifford Street. It’s in good company given the large number of heritage businesses in Mayfair as it was itself founded in 1774 in Florence.

Its Mayfair store is its first flagship to open in the UK, introducing its luggage and smaller leather goods, as well as notebooks and pens to British consumers. It offers personalisation on all of its items, along with a small collection of bespoke products, and will also be hosting regular calligraphy classes in the store.

Sticking more to what the neighbourhood is known for, Fedro Gaudenzi is a bespoke contemporary tailor that was launched in London in 2025. Its new atelier is at 34 Cork Street and offers a blend of “Italian and British craftsmanship with innovative designs”.

British perfumer Lyn Harris is a well-known name and her Perfumer H has opened a new London store as its flagship at 15A Clifford Street. In keeping with the street’s 18th century heritage, the store “has been designed to evoke Georgian London”. It offers fragrances, hand blown creations by Michael Ruh, candles, incense, potpourri, and pantry products.

Meanwhile, HAX is a made-to-order tailoring business for men and women founded by Hattie Glendenning only this year. It uses Yorkshire-made fabrics where possible, and says it “operates outside the boundaries of traditional tailoring, offering an updated approach to custom clothing”. It’s at 15 Clifford Street.

And finally, Daniel Hanson at 36 Savile Row specialises in bespoke dressing gowns and loungewear. It offers a limited selection of ready-to-wear, designed and manufactured in Nottingham.
