Hope, British fashion brand for women over 40, has raised nearly £550,000 on Crowdcube beating its original target of £500,000 and attracting more than 400 investors.

The company, backed by former M&S CEO Stuart Rose, launched a crowdfunding campaign at the end of April to raise funds for the business and help finance its growth strategy.
Catering to fashion-conscious women, the label aims to provide high quality modern clothes that can fit different silhouettes and give women more confidence. It was founded in 2025 by Nayna McIntosh, who has over 30 years of experience in the UK retail industry working for companies such as Next, Asda and M&S.
Since launch, Hope has enjoyed strong sales growth with a growing database and promising website traffic. It aims to double sales this year following two strong months in January and February, when sales jumped by 371% year-on-year.
In addition to this, the brand’s website is ready to trade internationally and a soft trial in the U.S. is underway.
One day remains until the crowdfunding campaign is closed.
